I saw we needed change and I wanted to be a voice for the people who feel unheard or afraid to speak. I can't believe that when I decided to speak last September that I would be here running for school board, but I am excited for a chance to be a collaborative team with the members of the community who I promise to serve with respect, advocacy, truth and dignity. It would be an honor to be your voice.
Our community, our voices, and our future start with how we support our schools. I want to be a strong, dedicated advocate for the students, teachers, and families who make our neighborhood whole. Right now, we need proper assistance in our classrooms to ensure our children can thrive. To make this a reality, I am ready to challenge the status quo. I will demand the accountability and transparency we deserve, while building a true synergy between our community and the school board. Together, we can ensure our voices are heard and our schools are working directly for our families.
